A few of the UAZs are used to transport scouting teams to observation points that overlook the few clear roads that lead out from Pripyat.
[19:30] *** More importantly, the skies are watched VERY closely for more incoming gunship helicopters.

[19:36] * Chibi-Sylvester is standing inside the heart of the main warehouse building: a truly HUGE place that's separated into various sections housing storage, offices, and even the remains of a machine shop. The largest section is a huge space the size of a football field containing big crates, several parked vehicles, and a ramp leading down to a cargo elevator large enough to accommodate a pair of 2.5 ton trucks parked side by side.

[20:18] <Chibi-Sylvester> To the point that a wounded Stalker can get back up in a few minutes. But they can also catch fire very easily if they'r exposed to too much heat and resonate in psi-fields.

But because of how quickly it heals wounds AND it can absorb poisons and other harmful toxins in the bloodstream, it's apparently in high demand outside the Zone by the military to reduce the effects of bio-terrorism.

[19:44] * The second that CLICK was heard, one of the Mother of All Landmines EXPLODES in a fiery cyclone of "F[BLEEP]K YOU" that threatens to rip the first line of tanks and drivers into bloody scraps, assuming the extreme 1500+ degree heat doesn't melt them into slag! Break out the popcorn, ladies and gentlemen!

[19:46] *** A total of SIX Stingray tanks were either completely blown into pieces-parts by the explosions or were so severely damaged that they grind to a shuddering halt, partially engulfed in flames and unable to move any farther. STICK A FORK IN 'EM, THEY'RE DONE!

[19:49] *** The helicopters are in plain sight in the sky, but they weren't close enough to be caught in the explosions. The remaining tanks pause, and it looks like SOMEONE on the tanks isn't happy by this particular turn of events.

[19:56] <MR> Just wait. The real fireworks show is soon to begin....

[19:57] *** The rest of the tanks start moving ahead again, moving around the wrecked tanks and continuing to advance. The APCs fall back a short distance and follow.

[20:00] * GR moves their right index finger to their left, and a nasty gravity trap spasms into existence close to the helicopters! Can you say "Spaghettification"?

[20:03] *** Wow! You took out FOUR of the six Hind-E helicopters! One of them is pulled apart by the gravity trap. Another is so badly affected by the grav field that it loses control, spinning around while firing its weapons and striking TWO other Hinds in the process.
[20:04] <Capt. David O`Cain> Ouch! We're just tearing them a new one!
[20:04] *** The stricken Hind suffers a catastrophic systems failure and the pilot overcontrols it right into a 90-degree tilt that causes it to lose all lift and plow straight down into the ground.
[20:05] *** The two damaged Hinds are forced to make crash-landings that are just painful to WATCH. You're not sure if anyone's walking away from those landings, but if anyone survived they're going to need help. Either way, they're out of this fight.
[20:08] * Hind helicopters WERE able to fire off a devastating barrage of attacks before most of them were destroyed. The rockets streak forward by the dozens and impact against the outer walls and buildings of the Jupiter Plant, each one striking and exploding with a force that would turn a car into scrap pieces.

[20:09] *** 's machine gun fire strafed the tops of the buildings and walls, striking down many Moon-Rabbits as they dive for cover to avoid the rockets.
[20:10] * Nelius Raoul lets his wings expand as they crackle with energy that would make even the most hardened of fighters shake. He fires off a veritable volley of dark orange energy shots at the approaching tanks! Meanwhile, Zotia lets loose a Tera Wind spell to send the Hinds scattering!!
[20:11] <Megan O`Cain> LIGHT'EM UP!
[20:11] * Megan O`Cain and her brother start firing their arm cannons at the Monolith force
[20:12] * Several Moon-Rabbits stand up on top of the walls and buildings, each of them holding an armed SA-7b Grail surface-to-air missile launcher!
[20:13] *** Monolith ground forces all accelerate to maximum speed, break formation, and CHARGE, firing all weapons as they advance!
[20:14] <spiritflame> Hind helicopters rolls 1d100 [ 84 ]
[20:14] *** The remaining Hind-E helicopters are blown out of the sky, struck multiple times by energy blasts, then by Grail IR missiles that home in on the flames engulfing them both!
[20:17] * The Stingray tanks ' cannons tear into the walls and buildings with devastating effect. Parts of the wall are quickly destroyed by High Explosive Armor Piercing shells, and several more are fired directly at the tops of buildings in an attempt to KILL the most dangerous defenders they see.
[20:17] *** Monolith soldiers quickly dismount from their carriers and rush forward, staying behind the vehicles for cover.
[20:18] * Megan O`Cain and her brother make sure their armor's barriers are up and holding as they fire at the Monolith force with as much firepower from their arm cannons
[20:18] * Chibi-Catri is still inside the Admin Building when it takes a hit! The shell explodes further down the hallway, but rocks the whole level.
[20:18] * Janice fires an icy arrow into the air..... and as it begins to descend, it splits into a veritable storm of icy shards that rain down with the force of cannonfire. Where they hit, then then erupt into spiked columns that go to impale their victims in multiple spots!
[20:22] *** Quite a few Monolith soldiers are struck by Janice's ice shard attack, but many of them keep going despite suffering obvious injury. They're ALL bleeding black, too.
[20:23] * By the way, there's another "Click" under the foot of a very unlucky Monolith Soldier....
[20:26] * Monolith soldier pauses and looks down.
[20:28] * Megan O`Cain charges energy into her arm cannon, and then fires down a storm of icicles at the Monolith soldiers, "MERCURY UPGRADE!"
[20:28] * Beep... beepbeepbeepbeepBEE---
[20:28] *** Meanwhile, the Moon-Rabbits are starting to fall back. They're laying down heavy covering fire with machine guns and RPGs, but the return fire from the tanks is causing a lot of carnage among them.

[20:29] * Moon-Rabbits were barely able to inflict much damage before they run out of RPGs. They managed to destroy several more tanks and some of the APCs, but that's about it.
[20:30] * Anesha looks towards the tanks and APCs, and at her command several hardened vines rip forth from the ground, aiming to impale the vehicles from below! Those vines got spikes large enough to impale a bus on 'em each!
[20:31] *** More Monolith soldiers are skewered by ice crystals and vines, taking out a few dozen of them!
[20:32] * Chibi-Catri leans out the window, takes aim, and FIRES!
[20:32] <spiritflame> Chibi-Catri rolls 1d100 [ 98 ]
[20:32] * Chibi-Catri HITS LEONA MORIMOTO SQUARELY IN THE CHEST!!
[20:33] * Monica flash-steps among several Monolith Soldiers, and in a blink and you'd miss it moment, strikes each one with several fingerpokes in certain areas.
[20:34] * Capt. David O`Cain changes to the Uranus Upgrade as he charges energy into his arm cannon, then plants the barrel of the cannon into the ground, and then unleashes a massive shockwave with columns of energy sprouting upwards as they race towards the Monolith forces, "MAGNETIC SHOCKWAVE!"
[20:34] *** In a different part of the Jupiter Plant, the vehicle elevator leading down into the Pripyat-1 underpass ACTIVATES. Something is trying to enter the Plant from the inside!
[20:35] *** The poked Monolith soldiers pause as Monica hits them, then they're affected! DESCRIBE!
[20:36] *** David, your attack takes out a few more squads of soldiers and causes some of the APCs to short out and catch fire, but they're STILL COMING.
[20:37] *** The Moon-Rabbits rush to the perimeter and return fire with their weapons. A HUGE firefight begins.
[20:37] * The Kits are among the defenders!
[20:39] * Leona Morimoto slowly pulls herself to her feet, staggering a little as black blood streams from the bullet wound in her chest. She glares at the Moon-Rabbits,takes aim with her own rifle (a highly advanced Designated Marksman Rifle) and FIRES.
[20:40] * Monica just went all Kenshiro on those poor saps. "Omoe wa mou shinderu♡" You know what comes next!
[20:41] * Capt. David O`Cain and Megan quickly summon their horses, and begin to ride towards the Monolith forces with incredible speed while armed with their scythes
[20:44] *** The Monolith soldiers suddenly twist and contort in extremely unusual ways, suffer spontaneous EXPLOSIVE diarrhea, and appear to engage in frantic breakdancing as they all fall to the ground.
[20:45] * Capt. David O`Cain and Megan both begin to swing their scythes at the Monolith troops as they try to force their way towards Leona
[20:46] *** The Monolith soldiers return fire as they advance, and quite a few of them are wearing Ratnik suits!
[20:47] *** Meanwhile, a cloud of what looks like swarming insects surges towards everyone defending the Jupiter Plant!

[01:38] * @Sailor Quinox summons an air blast and fires it...managing to blast off one of it's legs!

[01:39] * Haru E fires out beams from the 20+ eyes on her body.
[01:42] *** the creature screeches and bursts outward into blood!

[01:44] * Lyz summons two splinter-like shards of fire and ice..... and then combines them into a single bolt! She fires it at the monster!

[01:47] * the creature SCREAMS as the bolt splits it in half...as it does so...the chains start to break..and collapse!
