[18:50] * Every single bubble blown by the audience is popped by hummingbirds who fly and buzz around to different catchy songs, as the lights on the van blink to keep time!
[18:51] * This lasts until everyone has finished blowing all of the bubble solution from their bottles into bubbles!
[18:52] * The hummingbirds then fly in a circle around the van, and when the man in the tuxedo stops playing the strange flute, they all fly into a formation that looks like a hand that waves goodbye, and as a final fanfare plays, each and every hummingbird lands back inside its perch and habitat in the giant van.

[19:24] * The Penetrator of Space 's aft half is all thrusters (SEVERAL of them) and fuel tanks. Amidships there are the THREE add-on modules sticking out of the main hull: essential storage, communications, and science. All three of them are connected to the Engineering module.

[22:43] <David O`Cain> Not much. Just yakking and enjoying the quiet.
[22:44] <Ayame Junia> Not much here for me. Just taking a break from Dad's week of celebration.

[22:46] <Ayame Junia> The Tampa Bay Lightning won the Stanley Cup.
[22:46] * Sean Collins offers Lyz a piece of taffy. "Halloween candy is abundant everywhere."
[22:47] <Ayame Junia> Some of the players are with Dad and others partying with Lord Stanley... or his cup. I'm not as much into sports as they are.

[22:48] <Ayame Junia> I am a fan of ÆW though. I am all in.
[22:48] <Sean Collins> The cup is a trophy. Not a person.
[22:49] <Sean Collins> Anyway, congrats to them, but a week of partying? That's a bit much.
[22:49] <Ayame Junia> Ah, so that's what that larg trophy is they keep drinking out of.
[22:50] <David O`Cain> Sounds unsanitary.
[22:50] <Ayame Junia> Apparently each player gets a few days with it before it goes to the next player and location. Since there's more than a few here, they get to celebrate for a few days here.
[22:51] <Lyz> ....hoo boy. Take it quiet spots are at a premium?
[22:51] <Ayame Junia> Maybe, but does anyone care when the alcohol is flowing?
[22:52] <Sean Collins> Those with self control do :P
[22:52] <Ayame Junia> Believe it or not, they haven't been that loud. They get a bit boisterous during the day, but they usually are at the pool or someplace.
[22:53] * Ayame Junia just shrugs. It's not my place to question that tradition. They actually made Dad an honorary player as well.
[22:53] <Sean Collins> I'm not into sports that much myself. They can be entertaining to watch, but....its not my thing
[22:55] <David O`Cain> Football and baseball are more my speed of things.
[22:55] <Sean Collins> My party comes after a successful recital or a good bout.
[22:56] * Ayame Junia looks at Sean with an inquisitive look. "I must have been told some incorrect things."
[22:56] <Sean Collins> Well, I've played various Earth sports.
[22:57] <Sean Collins> But...I always had to hold back. Humans are very fragile...well most others are fragile when compared to me.

[22:58] <Sean Collins> Everyone seems to forget...I wasn't reborn as a human.
[23:00] <David O`Cain> Yeah, that does go for a few of us here.
[23:00] <Sean Collins> Long story short, having to hold back in a "sport" is no fun, and its not a challenge.
[23:01] <Ayame Junia> Especially when dad is on the same team.

[23:01] <Sean Collins> I guess that's why I like being a Knight. It puts everyone on equal strengths and power levels. And I won't shatter tehir ribs in one punch. ;)
[23:03] <Ayame Junia> That makes sense. I guess it does get boring if you know you can crush your competition.
[23:04] <Ayame Junia> THough back to teeth shattering, I've seen what that Brad Marchand from the Bruins does to players. I'm surprised his dirtiness doesn't lead to more fights.
[23:05] <Sean Collins> Did they ever teach you about the anatomy of the various races of the Sol in school...you guys still have schools in the future, right?

[23:10] * Attractive but sad young woman looks at various houses along the street where she is walking, including The HOTEL, but morosely tears her eyes away after looking at each one.

[23:10] <Ayame Junia> I am well aware of this Uncle. The Nekonians and the Canisians alone remind me of this.

[23:12] <Sean Collins> Heck, if I wasn't careful, I could accidentally kill someone. I already spent time in Alien jail, and that was because of false charges.

[23:19] * Attractive but sad young woman sighs and keeps walking. She picks up the piece of litter and responsibly puts it into a trash can... then she clenches her eyes against tears and rips out and crumpls up pages from her notebook, putting them into the trash receptacle as well.
