I always thought it was dark/navy blue, but the animé tends to show it as a golden yellow when it's clearly obvious that the stone in your tiara is dark/navy blue. I suppose one could always question the color of Usagi-chan's, Setsuna-san's and Hotaru-sama's planetary symbols/auras too, but we don't have time for that.
