Yes, Haruka-poppa, and this makes this gift very simple to explain. You see, the "." in Mr. actually contains a hidden spy camera. Since fish tanks are very relaxing, this one would be placed in the bedroom, where the hidden spy camera would be used to capture any and all private activities, and the resulting footage used to blackmail those involved.
