[14:23] <[gTV]Karasuma_Akane> So I took all the other packets she bought, taped them up, and mailed them off to various third world nations.

[14:23] <[gTV]Karasuma_Akane> For some reason watching the food leave made her cry even more.

[14:24] <FireFly_9> And I thought Usagi-san was the only one overly emotional about food.

A city still standing because nothing has tried to knock it down; The northeast's New Orleans or Detroit. If a catastrophe reigned down on Baltimore, it would never come back. The bulk of the city would remain in ruin until the federal government bulldozed it or nature reclaimed it. The social and economic structure of the United States cannot support cities like this any longer; The largest employers in Baltimore are Johns Hopkins University and Medical Center and the Social Security Administration, followed by a number of defense contractors and numerous other hospitals. This is not a thriving city, it is a city on life support. SSA could be anywhere, and the only reason the hospitals are still there is because people have been left behind by industries that have moved on.
