Dr. Xadium [Reply] No. 149 A quick one I did as an experiment in manga style screening and sepia tones. The mood I tried to evoke was a relaxed one, the picture telling a fragment of a tale... the way Minako used to be kind and watch over Xadium during his studies back when they first met, pre Suburban Senshi days. I don't like how "haggard Xadium's" hair just seems to pop out of the picture, but I think the expression on Minako's face works well. |

Flame Sniper
Dr. Xadium [Reply] No. 146 The first ever wallpaper to feature the anime version of hino rei.bot. She is performing one of Sailor Mars' attacks, "Flame Sniper". rei.bot's version, however, is considerably more powerful. I picked this attack to showcase her power since the bow is a traditional weapon of the miko. Note that rei.bot's face is reminescent of the androids from Dragonball Z, which is fitting since her technology is partially derived from them. |

Moonlight Rendevous
Dr. Xadium [Reply] No. 145 Xadium and Minako on a moonlight date on a rooftop in Tokyo. This time I tried to use a slightly different style for Minako, something a bit more fancy and formal, it's amazing how much more mature she looks when her eyes are narrowed. Her outfit is loosely based on the pattern of Sumire Kanzaki's from Sakura Taisen but with lower shoulders. |
