With the influx of the so-called "newbie" anime fans that came as a result of programs like Adult Swim and Toonami came a lessened interest in old school anime such as Sailor Moon, a lessened interest that has come so far as to cancel any future licensing of the show in America

Toonami helped Sailor Moon a ton at first anyway, but then they dropped them totally in favor of more Shounen fare... the problem, Wolf, are some of the n000bs who think that unless the show has CGI all over the f[BLEEP]king place and celshading everywhere it ain't worth watching.

your website is one of a dying breed Xadium, one of the few, the proud, the original...a website devoted to the few and far between good BSSM fanfiction, because lets face it, Suburban Senshi at it's core is a fanfiction. After the demise of websites like Next Gen SM and the EOS chronicles, I myself had pretty much lost interest in Sailor Moon in general and was quickly joining the "Dragonball Z generation" (I was getting up every morning to watch Hamtaro for god sake) which had pretty much taken over at that point. Then I stumbled across this website, that reminded me why the hell I got into anime in the first place...why the hell at 8 years old I got up every morning at 6 to watch the first dubbed season on WBNX. I am simply repaying you for all you' ve done for the "cause" the best way I know how, helping keep it alive in it's time of need.

[11:32] <@Dr_Xadium> Sailor Moon as a Phenomenon is over 10 years old now. In Japan its star may have faded a bit because, well, to be blunt, in Japan there's new anime coming out all the time. In America we're still-- even with shows like Adult Swim-- playing catch up and having only a few spots on the dial to look at. So for us, shows like Sailor Moon have a greater stature and prominence.

[11:34] <@Dr_Xadium> And I give you all my word that, for as long as Sub. Senshi goes on, we will continue to push the bounds of Sailor Moon fandom (and good taste, LOL)
