Well this is a step beyond.
First off, no sooner did we get back from Point Nemo that we see the Tokyo Skytree in flames on TV, and strange half-senshi half-monster things we've nicknamed "Terrible-senshi" have started a series of random attacks in Roppongi

What the hell is that? Like a "Phage" creature from twenty years ago?

Something much worse. But I'll get to that.
We got back only to find out that Diana, who'd been visiting from the future of Sakura's Timeline, had been viciously attacked when the both of them were out in Roppongi. Her Lunar Crescent was ripped out of her head by some of the Terrible-Senshi and she fell into a coma.
As Healing Haven was the closest Medical facility, Sakura had to take her there.

...There's more to that story too. But they stabilized her and she's hanging on to life there. Sakura needs someone from the Lunar Royal family in her timeline to come here and make her a new crescent, but because she's been exiled to this timeline by her people, she can't go back to ask for help.

Yeah and I can't go back either because my whole history might get rewritten if I step foot back there.

So Sakura was intent on catching one of these terrible-senshi alive and we thought we caught a break when Mizuki Aya showed up at the HOTEL battered, reporting that one had been hanging around her place and it new her name. That's the one whose picture I posted above. It had her so spooked that she literally refused to go back home and has moved into to The HOTEL and is running her business from there for now.

It followed her back to the HOTEL and everyone fought it. but from the get go it was a strange encounter.
For one thing, unlike the old school monsters it could speak in complete sentences.
It called humans "Youma freaks" and "gimmick creatures", and called itself a "Sailor Senshi" and said it was fighting for the glory of the "Shining Queen." and then it blew itself up so we couldn't capture it.
I did a DNA analysis on it, and found out there was a hit to a missing person who had gone missing months ago.

Someone had injected a junior high school kid with a mutagenic compound based on "Dust" - the ground-up particles of a Sailor Crystal to create an irreversable mutation into that "Terrible-senshi" thing.

But as Professor Tomoe pointed out, that mutation was still ongoing, so the monster wasn't fully baked yet. We have no idea what the final stage of the mutation looks like.

Are there any clues as to who is doing this?
Det. Ema Skye
No. These things move around in packs and sttack randomly, then scatter. Unlike monsters of the week they all have full human intellegence and are capable of advanced strategy. I'd guessed that maybe someone was trying to create an army of Sailor Soldiers. But it's just a guess.

Well, like you, we were suspicious of Healing Haven, so Daniel helped infiltrate the place. He discovered a fine wire connecting her hospital bed to the wall, which was being supercharged with Saturnian Healing energy. Travelling up the wire he made a horrific discovery...

The Great Healer is slowly killing himself by sensing out his healing energy to all those patients in Healing Haven.... and he won't stop because they all need his help.

He's directly wired his body to every hospital bed. Which is why the patients are all making miraculous recoveries and coming back from injuries that should be untreatable.
This led to another problem... so many people want help from Healing Haven that there's whole tent cities of people out there clamoring to get in... and then some rich lady shows up injured and her staff push her into the hospital past all the waiting people and ... tension s just erupted. There was a huge riot outside and tons of cops and PD were hurt... and to top it all off in the dead of night the Terrible-senshi attacked the rioters and dozens of people are dead / missing.

AND TO TOP IT OFF *I* F[BLEEP]KED UP.
On Point Nemo we'd found a mysterious raft. Working together, Daniel and I and some of the otehrs discovered the raft had clues pointing to a volcanic island. We went there thinking there was a castaway needing help. With no one else around I took point for the first time...
Apparently not... and *I* was the one who brought him back to Tokyo.

Well suspiciously right after Kerrick returned, the Lady President of Gallifrey has gone missing and all Time Lords have been recalled to search. Except for me, because, you know. Exiled.
And I've been getting nothing but bad feelings about it since.
