@SpeedRcrX pasted:
I was waiting for Batman’s guests, but (the Joker) had taken over the elevator with — he has seven dwarfs and… oh! wait until you see them. So, I’d never seen any of it and the elevator door opened and they came out and I forgot every bloody line. They frightened the bloody life out of me …. It’s amazing and it’s so different from Jack.
@SpeedRcrX> -- Michael Caine on Heath Ledger as the Joker in the Dark Knight.
Crwn_FruT_Gamer> I'm tired of this
@SpeedRcrX> Huh?
Crwn_FruT_Gamer> I’m tired of beating around the bush.
Crwn_FruT_Gamer> I'm a handsome, (really hot) 32 year old guy. I'm articulate and a bit classy.
@SpeedRcrX> You are??
Crwn_FruT_Gamer> I'm looking to get married to a girl who makes at least a million yen a year.
Crwn_FruT_Gamer> I know how that sounds, but that's barely middle class in parts of Toko, so I don't think I'm reaching too much here.
Crwn_FruT_Gamer> Are there any women who make who make ¥1 000 000 or more here? Could you send me some tips? I dated a businesswoman who makes average around 200 - 250. But that’s where I seem to hit a roadblock. 250,000 won’t get me to Roppongi Heights. I know a man in my yoga class who was married to an investment banker and lives ithere, and he’s not as hot as I am. So what am is he doing right? How do I get to his power level?
Crwn_FruT_Gamer> Why are some of the men living lavish lifestyles on the upper east side so plain? I’ve seen really ‘plain jane’ boring types who have nothing to offer married to incredibly wealthy women.
Crwn_FruT_Gamer> Jobs I should look out for? Everyone knows - lawyer, investment banker, doctor. How much do those women really make? And where do they hang out? Where do the hedge fund women hang out?
Crwn_FruT_Gamer> How you decide marriage vs. just a fling? I am looking for MARRIAGE ONLY
[gTV] Karasuma_Akane> Hmmmmmmm.
[gTV] Karasuma_Akane> *thinks meaningfully about your dilemma*
[gTV] Karasuma_Akane> I qualify as a woman who fits your bill; that is I make more than ¥1M per year.
Crwn_FruT_Gamer> Wanna date?
[gTV] Karasuma_Akane> No. Listen.
[gTV] Karasuma_Akane> Your offer, from the prospective of a woman like me, is plainly and simply a crappy business deal. Here’s why. Cutting through all the B.S., what you suggest is a simple trade: you bring your looks to the party and I bring my money. Fine, simple. But your looks will fade and my money will likely continue into perpetuity…in fact, it is very likely that my income increases but it is an absolute certainty that you won’t be getting any hotter.
[gTV] Karasuma_Akane> So, in economic terms you are a depreciating asset and I am an earning asset. Not only are you a depreciating asset, your depreciation accelerates! Let me explain, you’re 32 now. That's almost ancient. You will likely stay pretty hot for the next 5 years, but less so each year. Then the fade begins in earnest. By 45 stick a fork in you!
[gTV] Karasuma_Akane> So we would call you a trading position, not a buy and hold… hence problem with marriage. It doesn’t make good business sense to “buy you” (which is what you’re asking) so I’d rather lease. In case you think I’m being cruel, I would say the following. If my money were to go away, so would you, so when your hotness fades I need an out. It’s as simple as that. So a deal that makes sense is dating, not marriage.
[gTV] Karasuma_Akane> What you're proposing is a Classic “pump and dump.” I'd be asking women for leases, if I were you.
Crwn_FruT_Gamer> D:
@SpeedRcrX> Burrrrrrrrrrrn.

 Crwn_FruT_Gamer has signed off (*Rainbow Bay bridge*)

@SpeedRcrX> Should I go save him or will you
[gTV] Karasuma_Akane> What won't his Gamera save him
@SpeedRcrX> hehe

Yeah, Motoki's even more pathetic than some of the most pathetic people I know! XD

Crimson Butterfly [e-mail] • 10/10/07 07:04pm

Yes, he is quite, quite pathetic XD

Dr. X • 10/09/07 06:50pm

Uh, X, _I_ make 250,000 in a _month_, and I'm a foreigner with a bachelor's degree and zero prior professional experience. That's only about $2,000 USD, is what I'm getting at. A million yen a year? Even I wouldn't take a job that crappy, unless I was able to work another one (or two, or three) at the same time. Now, if you wanna bump that up to 10 mil, now where getting somewhere. 100 million? Even better.

Wow, Motoki's pathetic.

SaiyaJedi • 10/09/07 12:34pm

X: YAY!! Looking forward to it!! :D

Mel • 10/07/07 03:00am

I thinketh that Motoki is a little mess up in the head there.

Now I will go hide as I make more than 1m yen a year...

D-Train [e-mail] • 10/07/07 02:52am

Um, doesn't 1m yen equate to about 10k in American dollars... there are rookie American Sailors that get more than that a year, and they aren't exactly above the poverty line when it comes to getting paid. I could be just spitting balling here but Motoki-san doesn't seem to be exactly looking for someone that makes a whole lot... I would try at least 10-100 million yen if you are trying to live at Roppongi hieghts there Motoki(and good luck with that, you'll need it). However, you need to also bring your actual assests to the table Motoki and not the looks either. I mean though blondes are more of a rare commidity in Japan, you aren't exactly the only blonde. There is Jedite and myself on the guys side(though I am married). You went to teh rich boy's college with Mamoru... so you have to have a degree worth something to the world.

*Minako seconds the question, glaring at X-chan*
*Ami looks at her sponsorship information*
*X shies away*
*Karasuma grabs him by the collar* "No running away for you, ba[BLEEPrd..."
X> I'll... get right on it?

Dr. X • 10/06/07 10:57am

Kind of off-topic, but whatever happened to the '07 budokai? :<

Mel • 10/06/07 10:51am

Karasuma's being cold...but truthful. However, if the situation was somehow reversed and Motoki was the one raking in massive amounts of money, then he'd have plenty of propositions from prospective "gold-diggers". As it is, what he's offering right now isn't a "pump and dump" as Karasuma stated; he's just looking for a "sugar-mama".

Although, it could just be that the women Motoki's talking about have insecurity issues and have these plain, unattractive husbands with lower incomes simple to feel better about themselves by comparison. A.k.a. an attractive, wealthy, competent husband might possibly cheat on them...or make *them* look less competent by comparison.

Jeez, why are humans getting so damn cynical nowadays? I wonder if this has anything to do with "Generation X" and the "Me generation" growing up?

Solarchos [e-mail] • 10/05/07 09:33pm

Nice and harsh Akanne! Way to go! ^_^
